Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this Master Lock cable gun lock. Now this cable gun lock is an effective deterrent against thieves or even curious children. The lock uses a small two millimeter diameter cable that'll fit a wide range of revolvers, pistols, rifles, shotguns. It is a steel cable which is very strong and durable.

And basically just insert the cable into the chamber to help prevent the gun from being loaded. If you notice on the lock itself it has a nice plastic coating on the lock body. And then the cable has the vinyl covering on it to prevent scratches on your weapon when you lock it. Basically it comes with the two keys. And what you do is just insert it in there.

And if you twist it, it'll release the cable. And you pull it right out just like that. And then you run that through the chamber. When it comes back to the lock you just leave the key in there. And with the key in there all you have to do is just push it in and it will lock it into place.

Simple as that. It is tamper resistant. Uses a four pin tumbler to resist any picking. And it is a dead locking mechanism so it'll protect the lock from being knocked or wrapped open. We mentioned the two keys are included.

This part is made in the USA. So when we do open this, you twist it, open it up. Total length on the cable itself is 14 inches. Diameter we mentioned is 2 millimeters. And again, you just push it in there, get the key in there, and it'll lock into place. The size on the lock body itself, width of it is about 1 5/16 of an inch. Again, just to show you if you twist the key, pull it out, run that through, push it back in, and it's all locked into place. Simple as that.
